Merry Christmas to all!
Please excuse my absence over the last few months, as these have been truly difficult times. It became increasingly more difficult to want to post anything as crap just piled on.
My hope is to start posting some material again soon because re-living moments in gaming is always helpful in raising your spirits (or not).
What better way to celebrate Christmas than to listen to some Christmas music from one of the best holiday-themed games ever? Let me save you the trouble, there is no other way. I only wish my dear old Saturn wasn’t sold off in a garage sale several years back. No, mom! Don’t do it! Sorry, still suffer from flashbacks occasionally.
Anyhoo, thanks for reading and enjoy your holiday!

I’ve been posting some of the worst box art lately, so to buck the trend here is some awesome Castlevania (NES) box art.

River City Ransom; NES, 1989

High ResolutionFor one of the best RPGs of all time, Suikoden sure did have some crappy box art.

Having spent hours playing Ocarina of Time yesterday (and a good chunk of that on the Forest Temple), this melody has been replaying itself in my head. I don’t normally post video game music, but this theme was unique to me in that it was equally as creepy as it was kind of mystical. An eerie vibe, if you will. I don’t necessarily like game music; but I do realize how essential it is to the experience, especially when done right. Game music and me: This sort of thing is my bag, baby.

Purchasing a PSP within the past year means I’ve missed tons of games over the years. I had one of the original PSP-1000’s, but lost it because it just sat around collecting dust. One of those tons of games happens to be Lumines II, which I just got last week, and was subsequently unable to stop playing for the next few days. Holy crap, this game is addicting.
